Construction site hoardings are enclosed barriers erected around urban construction sites to beautify, tidy, and unify the external environment. Their height is tiered according to road type: no less than 1.8 meters for general roads, no less than 2.2 meters for main urban roads and scenic roads, and 2.5 meters for major urban roads.

Hoardings are mostly constructed using recyclable materials such as steel structures and prefabricated structures. Public service advertisements or project renderings can be displayed on the surface, with public service advertisements occupying at least 20% of the total area and evenly distributed. The hoardings must be continuous and enclosed, with a stable structure, a sealed bottom to prevent mud leakage, and a sprinkler dust suppression system preferably installed on the top. Regulations stipulate that the construction company's logo and project name must be painted on the hoardings in Song typeface. They are prohibited from being used for load-bearing or erecting temporary facilities; violations will result in administrative penalties. The hoardings must be removed promptly upon completion. Daily maintenance is the responsibility of the implementing unit, which requires regular cleaning, repair of damaged parts, and cleanup of the surrounding environment.
